1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Livosa Health ("Livosa", "we", "us") governing your use of the Livosa mobile application and livosahealth.com (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live) to use Livosa.
2. Medical disclaimer — please read this one
Livosa is a general wellness and self-tracking tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Information shown in the app — including medicine–supplement interaction flags, drug–nutrient depletion notices, nutrition targets, insights, and AI Coach responses — is drawn from published reference sources and your own logs. It is educational, may be incomplete or inaccurate, and is never a substitute for the judgment of a qualified health professional.
Never start, stop, or change a medication, supplement, or diet because of something Livosa shows you without talking to your doctor or pharmacist first. If you think you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately — do not rely on the app.
3. AI-generated content
Features such as the AI Coach and photo food recognition use artificial-intelligence models. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or misleading even when it sounds confident. Nutritional estimates from photos are approximations. Verify anything important — especially anything touching medicines or health decisions — with a professional. Section 2 applies fully to all AI output.
4. The service
Livosa lets you log meals, medicines, supplements, symptoms, mood, hydration, workouts, sleep, cycle data, vitals, labs, and body composition; computes nutrition summaries against personal targets; provides reminders, safety flags, insights, reports, optional caregiver sharing, and an AI coach. We may add, change, or remove features over time. Some features require an internet connection, device permissions (camera, microphone, notifications, health platforms), or a paid subscription.
5. Accounts
- Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- Provide accurate information — your nutrition targets are computed from your profile.
- Caregiver sharing gives another person visibility into parts of your data. Only grant it to people you trust; you can revoke it in the app at any time.
- You can delete your account at any time (see the deletion page).
6. Subscriptions and billing
- Core features are free. Livosa Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription; current pricing and periods are shown in the app before purchase.
- Billing is handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period — manage or cancel in your store account settings, not in the app.
- Refunds are governed by the applicable store's policy. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- If a subscription lapses, you keep your data; only premium features are locked.
7. Your content
You own the data you put into Livosa. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that data solely to operate and improve the Service as described in the Privacy Policy — nothing more. You are responsible for having the right to share anything you upload (for example, lab documents).
8. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the Service. In particular, don't:
- break the law, or use the Service to harm yourself or others;
- probe, disrupt, or overload our systems, or bypass App Check or access controls;
- access another person's data without their explicit, informed consent;
- scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service or its reference content;
- reverse-engineer the app except where the law grants that right.
9. Intellectual property
The Service — including the app, website, design, logo, and reference content — is owned by Livosa Health or its licensors and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own personal, non-commercial use. Third-party data sources (such as the Open Food Facts database) remain subject to their own licenses.
10. Warranties and liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of health-related information. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that data will never be lost — please use the built-in export regularly if your records matter to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Livosa Health will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded (for example, for gross negligence or where consumer law grants you non-waivable rights).
11. Termination
You can stop using Livosa and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these Terms, with notice where practicable. Sections 2, 3, 7, 9, 10, and 13 survive termination.
12. Changes to these Terms
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and give you notice in the app before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new Terms apply. If you disagree, stop using the Service and delete your account.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Livosa Health is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the consumer-protection law of your country of residence gives you additional mandatory rights — those rights are unaffected. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
